Updated: Jan 14, 2023

This week's #MeetTISB features Ms. Priya, Head of College Counselling & Higher Education Program.

Ms. Priya finished her schooling from Loreto Convent Lucknow and holds two master's degrees in Statistics and Master of Management Studies. Mrs. Priya worked in the corporate sector for a few years and finally found her calling in the Education Sector. A lifelong learner and a voracious reader, Mrs. Priya has gained 15+ years of experience in Counselling, Academic & Career Planning with High School students. She joined TISB in August 2018 and calls the school her second home.

“My family is my anchor, and I am blessed with a loving and a caring husband. Our two endearing girls have settled well in their own beautiful homes and careers. I enjoy spending time with my family and love visiting different places during holidays.”

Sharing and growing together with fellow colleagues is the mantra Ms. Priya follows. Students of present generation are on their way to become ‘changemakers of tomorrow’.

Positive reinforcement, constructive feedback, encouragement to take decisions responsibly, equitable attention to entire student body irrespective of their academic background- is what I believe students need from us as College Counsellors besides mentoring and guidance on their future pathways. Our department ensures that we keep ourselves abreast of current education and career trends.
